AWAKENING FIRE CONFERENCE
Sept. 24–27, 2026 | Tübingen

God uses ordinary people to make history:
the slave Joseph and the shepherd boy David in Israel, the fisherman Peter, as well as the monk Columbanus, through whom Europe was evangelized. Or consider the waiter William Joseph Seymour, who sparked the revival on Azusa Street, or the sisters Peggy and Christine Smith, both over 80 years old, in the Hebrides.
They were simple people who didn’t rest until God’s fire was kindled. They were „Heroes of Revival.“ God is still looking for „Heroes of Revival“ today.

with David Hathaway (GB), David Hogan (Mexiko), Eddie James (USA) and Jobst Bittner (DE)!

He is calling you—will you be one of them?

Speaker

David Hogan

more Info

David Hogan is a missionary who has been serving among the indigenous peoples in the mountains of Mexico for decades. Hundreds of congregations have been established through his ministry under the most adventurous circumstances, and the power of God is regularly demonstrated there through signs and wonders—even including the raising of the dead. The fact that three generations of his family are now enthusiastically involved in this ministry illustrates its authenticity and fruitfulness.

David Hathaway

more Info

David Hathaway is an evangelist from England who has been serving in the power of the Holy Spirit with an unquenchable fire for 70 years. In the 1960s, he smuggled Bibles into Communist Russia, willing to go to prison for the cause. That same determination and fire of the Holy Spirit still characterize David Hathaway today, at the age of 93!

Eddie James

more Info

Eddie James discovered his passionate love for worship and gospel music at the age of just nine. He topped the Billboard Gospel charts with the Phoenix Mass Choir and traveled to over 60 countries with his initiatives—always with a special heart for young people facing challenging life situations. In his ministry, powerful worship and deep social commitment go hand in hand, giving rise to globally renowned worship collectives such as Maverick City Music.

Jobst Bittner

more Info

Jobst Bittner is a theologian and author who, together with his wife Charlotte, founded the TOS Ministry in Tübingen—an organization that today encompasses twelve congregations both in Germany and abroad. This work has given rise to a wide range of social services, extending from homes for street children in Latin America and a drug rehabilitation center in Belarus to 24/7 prayer centers in Europe and the Americas. Through the „March of Life“ initiative, founded in 2007, he links this ministry with global reconciliation efforts and the fight against antisemitism. Jobst Bittner’s vision is the restoration of the authority of the Church of Jesus in the spirit of the „Sons of Zion,“ as described in Acts 2:42.

Markus Wenz

more Info

Markus Wenz is the Senior Pastor of Gospel Forum in Stuttgart—one of Germany’s largest churches—having taken over leadership from his father, Peter Wenz. As the founder and leader of the Holy Spirit Night movement, he fills arenas across Europe with young people seeking an encounter with God. Together with his wife, Elsie, he is passionate about seeing a young generation live a supernatural life in the freedom and power of the Holy Spirit.

Cornelius Beier

more Info

Cornelius Beier is the Lead Pastor of the Christus Centrum Tostedt. Having grown up in the former GDR in a family where his grandfather served as a pastor in the state church, he experienced the power of the Gospel from childhood—even in the face of opposition. After studying at the European Theological Seminary in the Black Forest, he led a free-church congregation in Böblingen starting in 2007, before his path led him to Tostedt in 2019. He is married and a father of six. He is passionate about living out faith in a way that transforms society amidst everyday life.

Stefan Haas

more Info

Stefan Haas is a qualified theologian and pastor of the TOS Church in Leipzig. Together with his wife Dorothee and a dedicated team, he has built a thriving congregation in the former East Germany—despite facing fierce opposition. He is equally passionate about the Word of God and Israel, the people of God; this is evident, among other things, in the kosher café „HaMakom,“ which the congregation operates in Leipzig alongside an exhibition. Stefan Haas is known for his profound Bible studies and sermons.

Guido Kasch

more Info

Guido Kasch is the pastor of the TOS Church in Tübingen. His journey took him from his family’s farm in a Swabian village—and a career as an engineer and software trainer—to the fulfillment of his heart’s desire: serving God full-time and preaching the Gospel. He has a burning passion for the lost; time and again, he has witnessed the power of God revealed on the streets as people encounter Jesus.

Hannah Kubsch

more Info

Hannah Kubsch is a theologian and a member of the leadership team of the TOS church in Tübingen, her hometown. As a child, asthma and numerous allergies made her life extremely difficult—until, as a young woman, she experienced God’s intervention and was healed. During this time, she learned to hold fast in faith to the Word of God and His promises. This experience shapes her ministry: Hannah Kubsch has a passion for biblical instruction and teaching in which the power of God becomes visible and tangible for people.

Heinz Reuss

more Info

Heinz Reuss is the International Director of the March of Life and an elder at the TOS Church in Tübingen. Alongside his pastoral work, he leads the international March of Life movement from Tübingen—organizing over a hundred annual marches across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Israel—to raise a voice for the Jewish people. His family connection to Nikolaus Count von Zinzendorf—the father of the Moravian revival and missionary movement—inspires his vision: that God will raise up new „Heroes of Revival“ in this generation.

Siyu Rowley

She studied Protestant theology and history; today, she works as a teacher and leads the dance team „Yeshua’s Call,“ through which she has honored the God of Israel with professional dance on numerous occasions and in a wide variety of locations. As an anointed Bible teacher, she combines deep spiritual insight with the power of worship through dance.
